David Wolf

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

David Wolf is a creative professional and media entrepreneur, with a long history serving as a music composer and producer of audio content for radio, TV, film, podcasts, audiobooks and multimedia. His previous company, Crywolf Productions, Inc. (1985-1999) and its recording studios provided music, sound design and production services for advertising and also studios such as Amblin, Discovery Channel, NBC Universal and Disney and for many well-known brands such as Southwest Airlines, Miller Brewing, Embassy Suites, Procter & Gamble, Texas Instruments, Brock Hotel Corporation and many more. David founded Audivita Studios to apply his experience and the talents, skills  and expertise of his creative team to help companies, publishers, entrepreneurs, influencers and thought leaders grow their brands and businesses through podcasting, audiobooks, video and internet radio.

Erika Yocom

Chief Operating Officer

Leveraging 30+ years in the corporate world, Erika Yocom (Audivita Director of Operations) is an Executive Virtual Business Manager specializing in technology research, business marketing, webinar building and maintenance, email marketing, presentation development, online research.

Erika is privileged to help Audivita reinforce their value and stay successful. In short, that means helping them tackle dreaded operational tasks, wrangle technology, and master client-facing communications.

Jay Spang

Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer

Bringing decades of marketing experience, Jay Spang works with the entire Audivita team to develop strategy, graphics, video production and Audio SEO for our clients. Jay has worked with clients big and small helping them reach their goals, leverage new media opportunities, successfully communicate and have fun during the process.

Shaun Hettinger

Director of Podcast Operations

Shaun is the Director of Podcast Production for Audivita Studios, and brings his years of experience composing music and creating audio for film, TV and multimedia, all of which informs how he designs the listener experience for all of the podcasts we produce.

After fronting buzz-worthy NYC & LA bands for 17 years, Shaun composed the theme song for Netflix’s first ever nightly talk show – Chelsea Handler’s “Chelsea.”

When not producing podcasts for Audivita, Shaun composes TV & Film Scores out of his own Neon Moon Studios, working with clients like Amazon, YouTube, MTV, Gatorade, Revlon, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Hallmark Channel & others.

Mark Shipman

Director of Audiobook Production

Mark ensures that your audiobook comes to life in the most comfortable, convenient, and professional way possible. He brings a broad range of recording and business experience to the production process. With forty years as a recording engineer and producer and more than three decades in marketing and business leadership, Mark understands the power of authentically communicating your story. When not working on your audiobook project, Mark coaches individuals and businesses, helping hundreds of people and companies find their paths to transformation, fulfillment, and success.

Maya Mahmud


As Communications Manager for Audivita Studios, Maya’s role centers around developing strong connections and expanding the brand ecosystem. She identifies strategic partnerships and potential clients, facilitates sales calls, writes email correspondences, conducts interviews for featured articles, and manages Audivita’s social media pages.

Maya graduated from NYU with a B.S. in Media and Communications, and a double-minor in Linguistics and Entertainment Business. She is a writer, artist, and published poet based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has appeared in 2 Horatio, Brio: Literary Journal, Frontier Poetry, and Blue Lights Press.

Matt Prigge

Casting Director

Matt draws from his multifaceted background as a producer, director, actor, writer and arts educator to find the ideal actor to bring a story off of the page and into the reader’s ears. Matt has directed actors of virtually every experience level, and in every imaginable setting; he is a true believer in an organic, text-driven process, and strives to evoke intimacy, honesty, and humor in every piece he works on. Matt is a self-described genre nerd, and values the importance of finding the right actor for a particular kind of story. Matt has produced, directed and performed in digital commercials, narrative short films, and dozens of live comedy events at NYC’s most prominent theaters. He has taught thousands of students, as young as three and as old as sixty-five, how to express themselves creatively through the mediums of acting, creative writing and comedy. Bo Powell

Casting Director

Bo has been working in theatre and film in Southern California for the past 10 years. As a casting director, he has worked with production companies like HBO, Showtime, FX and Netflix. In the theater world, he has worked as a producer, stage manager, sound designer and director. Brian A. Mendelsohn

Senior Audio Producer

Brian is a seasoned audio post production expert who has served a long list of projects in feature films and television of more than 30 yearsfor Sony, Fox, Universal, NBC, Disney and others. In feature film, Brian worked as composer and/or music editor or mixer on IOWA, Branches, Hercules and Xena, The Opposite Sex, The Shadow, The Good Old Boys and others.His television credits include The Ren & Stimpy Show, Meet Mr. Mom, Highlander, Weird Science, The Young and the Restless, 21 Jumpstreet, Booker The Bold and the Beautiful, Pee Wee’s Playhouse and many more.

Sid Fendley

Senior Audio Producer

For the past 23 years Sid has been the owner and chief engineer at Mountain Road Recording Studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mountain Road Recording Studios has recorded and produced thousands of radio and TV commercials, as well as documentaries, jingles and music albums. Sid has worked on over one hundred audio books with Audivita. Sid also performs as a keyboardist, vocalist, music director and composes for video and theater.
