Mapping the World with Darrin Clement

Darrin Clement, Founder and CEO, has 10+ years of mapping and map data experience at Maponics, Geographic Data Technologies (now TeleAtlas), Map Applications Inc., and Banyan Software. Darrin is an industry-recognized innovator and leader in the development of proprietary GIS databases for web-based search and map display. While at Geographic Data Technologies, Darrin was Director of Product Development and headed a group that successfully diversified GDT’s product line into five major product sectors, each with their own target markets. In 2001, he founded Maponics to innovate how companies used mapping and map-based technologies to improve their sales and marketing and he has successfully grown the company to its current position. Darrin holds an MS in Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College and a BS in Physics from Binghamton University.
